Knock yourself out. Go for it. You will be quids in as you will not have to pay a heating engineers callout/ labout charge ;)

You seem to have more faith in seller refurbed item (wonder what qualification he has to tinker and effect repairs) than someone who repairs boilers for a living.

Reading your post, looks like you do not even know what is wrong with your boiler!!

I would star diagnosing in the cylinder cupboard first rather than spend on a pcb

Always a good idea to correctly diagnose a fault BEFORE ordering spare parts!

A repaired PCB is still 10-15 years old!

I can't think of a single thing on a Suprima that can cause random lockouts and ignition failure.

Not one.

Not a jot.

Nada.

If course it's the PCB ;).

What do you mean there Dan?

I cannot think of one thing either.

But I can think of about three common ones!

Look out for the op,s next post that will start with "I have fitted a new PCB but its made no difference, what do you think the problem is" ;)
