Hi, can I use a 6" x 4" concrete lintels cut to lengths of 300mm as pad stones, thanks for your time!!

Also best way to clad a catnic with plasterboard, thanks for your time!!

Fix battens to the underside then drywall screws, use no more nails or similar.
