Hi,

I have a brick built detatched single skin garage and the inside is very dusty and has Efflorescence on the walls so I would like to paint it to try and limit the dust with some exterior paint. What is the best way to do this to avoid any issues with the Efflorescence making the paint bubble etc? Can I just rub it off and paint? The garage is about 18 months old.

Thanks,
Dan

Give it a good brush down with a hard brush and then coat it with alkali resisting primer, allow to dry and then apply your masonry paint.
