Hi All

I recently had the Kitch walls painted. The kitchen walls previously had wall paper stuck on and painted over. These old wall papers were stripped and the bare walls painted with Kitchen and Bathroom paint which has now started to peel and crack in places!!! I have checked but there was no sign of dampness otherwise the previous wall paper would have peeled off!

Can anyone advise best course of action to remedy this situation? many thanks.

I personally dont recomend using kitchen and bathroom apint its garbage!!. The cracks etc could be due to residues of paste on the wall that has reacted with the new paint. This can take a few days or even weeks to start to appear. After sanding down the walls they should be washed off with sugar soap or a mild detergent and rinsed off.
