Hi,

I just wondered if anyone could advise... I put a playhouse up for my toddler about 18 months ago - it was a flatpack but supposedly a decent one. Unfortunately I've never got it quite watertight. Part of the problem is that the sloping roof doesn't overlap the walls so in a downpour all the water runs down one side of the house. I'm planning on getting some corrugated sheets and possibly installing a gutter to keep the water away from this wall. However have also noticed the other walls are letting water in. The house has been painted with fence paint but this is not waterproofing so wondered if anyone had ideas - I was thinking of some green bitumen paint for the outside although I'm not a big fan of using it, it might do the trick.

Wondered if anyone had any other suggestions?

Paint isn’t going to help a poor design .I put a large overhang all round on a kids shop/fort to keep the rain out .

Thanks - sorry missed your reply - what material did you use to create the overhang?
