I am in the middle of paintng our bedroom wall and after two coats these marks are still showing through. A couple are filler not sure what the others are. I don't want to waste another coated if its not going to cover them. How can I solve tjis

It's called flashing.
Paint has flashed over filler.
Best way to stop it would be prime the filled area before painting.
Use a tinted primer or add 10% water to paint and mistcoat filler.
Flashing is more common with some emulsions than others but durable (scrubbable) emulsions are worse.
Paint has been altered because products like extenders in the formula were banned. Well the chemicals were banned.
It's very frustrating sometimes.

I've had patches with some paints which was difficult to deal with.
Do whatever you have to.
Try a light rub and spot priming.
Whatever work's

Its a nightmare, I primed affected area with Zinners 123 and 3 coats have not covered it. I'm at my wits ends
