I spilt some white emulsion paint on my asphalt drive and although I have got the worst of it off, It has left an unsightly white stain. I can’t even shift it with a pressure washer. Any one have any suggestions?

You could spill some black paint on the affected area? 
I think you will struggle to totally remove the paint due to then nooks and crannies. You could try something like patio cleaner which is acidic?
As it's water based paint i'm sure a good winter will remove any residual paint.
