Paint over tung oil?

My front door has tung oil over the years, is it possible to paint it over with white exterior paint?

Risky..you might get away with giving it a good rub down and applying something like zinseer or supergrip...but if it was mine id strip the tung oil

I was going to use steel wool with white spirit to rub it down, no good?

Yeh any brand mate...nitromors is good though
