paint pebble dash

is it possible to paint over exterior pebble dashing as its now looking old . i wondered if i would need to seal it or something to stop all the loose pebbles falling off while i was painting it.

brush the walls with a soft sweeping brush before you paint it that should get rid of any loose bits,also remember once you have painted it you have to re-do it every few years.

best to apply the stabalising solution first if its old render, then a nice big brush and lots of patience to paint it!
