Hi all, ive been using crown matt emulsion, the big tubs for ceilings and walls, problem is im finding it hard to get it to cover anything. For example on a white ceiling, small marks say a faint pencil mark are taking a good few coats to cover. This normal? I think i had this problem with one of the trade paints too a few years ago. This is stirred and not stirred just to check a difference. Any recommendations?

Spray the marks with stain block.
