Painting 30 interiror doors, facings & skirting

I have recently moved to Oz where I am renovating a 70s house which has "orange" stained varnished woodwork everywhere including 30 identical flush doors on wardrobes, storage cupboards and between rooms as well as facings & skirting.

I intend to paint all the exposed wood in a low-sheen off-white to brighten the place up (but not dazzle!).

While I am happy to paint the frames and skirting by hand, I am concerned at getting a good finish on the doors if painting them by hand - as well as the time that this might take.

As I see it my options are:
- Paint by hand (see above)
- Hire a spray gun and spray them (which type & what paint?)
- Outsource the spraying to a 3rd party (car sprayer or specialist?)

How are things in the colonies these days.

Have you considered using 100mm foam roller to apply the paint on the doors and trim I think you will find it will leave a smooth and flat finish as well as being some what quick as long as you do the preparation. Or you could have the doors professional stripped and start from scratch again with paint brush and roller. But if you want a proper job new replacement doors and out source to a 3rd party for spraying.
