Painting a ceiling in shower room

I need to paint the ceiling in my shower room which has been re-plastered.
The ceiling is low and is obviously going to collect a lot of moisture. Will a normal emulsion do it?
 
Ye sif the room is well ventilated and with an extractor..otherwise id use water based eggshell.

Thin the first coat of ordinary emulsion

Rub it down...the give it two coats of eggshell..you may need to thin them both by 10-15%
 
water based egg shell? wouldnt oil based be more water proof?

And what is the best substance to thin the paint with?
 
Water...

They both have more or less the same amount of water resistance.
