Painting Accoya

Hi everyone,
I`ve recently been making joinery from Accoya.
What is the best primer to use? as I`ve been told that water based/acrylic is not suitable.
Is an oil based primer the best to use?

not sure who told you that Accoya's recommendation is to use waterbased primers.

Accoya is apparently a "treated " wood and googling it reveals that one should refer to the coating manufacturers for their suitability
