Hi,
We are planning to decorate our lovely artex living room and looking for advice.
We have a large crack in the artex (due to upstairs neighbours dropping something heavy a while ago). Can we fill this with polyfiller and paint over?
What is the best way to go about painting artex walls (medium weight artex) - very old flat and imagine it would be really expensive to have it removed. Wanting to sell the flat so don't have a huge budget.
Cheers

Use decorators caulk to fill the crack. Push it in with your finger and then wipe off with a damp cloth. This will flex with any movement from above. To paint just use a nice medium pile roller and cut in the edges with a brush. :D
