Will I have a problem if I hang some blown vinyl and then paint it ? From other posts on the forum I believe you can't paint on vinyl. Any help really appreciated.

No problem...its meant to be painted

If you mean vinyl faced wallpaper that might have some sort of coloured patern to it then No you shouldnt paint it. Blown vinyl however is made of lining paper with the patern blown onto it and then covered with a substance that allows the surface to be painted with water based paints. If you have blown vinyl then paint it with matt emulsion before painting in a silk or satin finish as these stay sticky if you dont.
