Hi,
I have a concrete roof over my front door. Twice I year I have to clean this roof and repaint it.

I use a wire wheel on an angle grinder to clean the old paint off, the masonry paint to paint the roof.

It looks great until it rains. I know I’m obviously using the wrong paint, but what paint should I be using?

Thanks,
Dan.

I would use 2 pack epoxy floor paint -if you can get a colour thats suitable

I presume this is a flat concrete rooflet.

You could use a roofing material such as tiles, lead, asphalt or EDPM rubber.

It needs turning up where it meets the wall, and flashing or an upstand.

Yes, it’s flat at the top.

I have external wall insulation so don’t really have access to the wall. I has got lead flashing on, or at least it did before it insulation was done.

The outside was done free by some energy company not long after we moved in, putting a sloped roof above it concrete roof was on the to do list but we just ran out of time.
