I have a painted wall in my bathroom (Dulux Endurance) to which my sink is fitted. I've stuck 4 tiles behind the sink as a splash-back but when you look directly down on them from above you can just see the layer of adhesive between the tiles and the wall.

I was thinking about running a thin layer of Decorator's Caulk along the tops of the tiles and then painting the caulk with the same paint that's on the wall.

Any reason why I shouldn't do this?

Caulk will be just fine. Let it dry and paint the caulk onto the tile edge and then wipe the face of the tile clean. This will leave a nice clean finish.
