Hi
We had a small leak from the shower onto the hall landing wall, causing the paper to peel off the wall and generating some mould. The affected area's about 3 metres wide by about 1 metre high.
I've now regrouted the shower and removed the wall paper on the landing, leaving behind just the plaster, which looks in good condition. I've polyfilla'd a few cracks etc.
My intention is to spray some bathroom anti-mould stuff onto the plaster, rinse it off with sugar soap, then paint it with a mist coat and a couple more coats of "Dulux Colour Mixing Matt".
I'd like to ask, will this be sufficient to ensure that all the paste is removed (I can't see or feel any) and am I likely to get a decent finish?
Also, does anyone know of a better product to make sure the mould is destroyed?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
