Painting Garage Floor

Hi, i have a new garage floor (about 18mts old) , which i want to paint with floor paint, however the floor has been damaged by scaffolding been lifted in and out etc. it's only minor enough marks and indentations. I was wondering what would be the best way of leveling it out before i paint it. What about a thin layer of self - leveling compound? Can I paint on top of this or would it not be hard wearing enough,

Cempolatex powder with SBR liquid will scim as thin as you like and stick like shyte to an Army blanket

Cost aprox. £45 tho
