Hi
Some background info of my fix/project
I have a single bricked garage with asbestos/fibre corregated roof that leaked.
After reading on here i got some Cromapol Acrylic Roof Coating, that sealed the roof (really impressed by this product)
Also is has quite a bit of condensation inside of the roof (another thing i need to sort, I was thinking about gluing some underlay to it) as money is soooo tight at the moment.
Anyhoo, i had cracks in the corner of the garage than ran from bottom to top, i think the walls had leaned out (if you get what i mean)
The old owners by the looks of it put a skim coat of render in there, when it was a small crack, the crack over the years has got larger.
Iv chisled out the old render and put in some new render, im going to brace the walls with 2-3 angled steel screwed in.
Then repaint the whole inside of the garage with B&Q maisonary paint
So really my question (s) is, how long untill i can paint over the new rendering.
And as I rendered 3 days ago and the weather has been really damp, how long should it take untill the render dries, as i can still leave a finger nail imprint in there?
Thanks in advance for any useful help.
