Good Evening :)

I have been asked to paint 4 garage doors, 3 wood and one metal. They are not too bad condition and are in cream. The client wants the doors in the same colour.

My questions are, do you wash the doors down first?
What paint would you use, I know I can source this info from the tins etc but I like to ask on here if you have specific preferences with brands etc.
Ill need to rub down and undercoat first right?

Thanks all 8)

You will need to wash down if dirty.

You will need to rub down if the surfaces are previously coated.

You will need to prime if no coatings are on.

You will need to Undercoat.

You will need to apply an finish coat on top of the Undercoat.

I personaly find Dulux Trade Weathershield the best for wood and metal.
