I'm hoping to have a false wal put up the size of a standard but of plasterboard which will provide the backing to my toilet.. If I paint it with a bathroom paint do you think that will be sufficient to stop the plasterboard from getting too wet and needing replacing? If any people who seem to "miss" the toilet pan got it on the wall

I was hoping to not have to plaster the board and paint straight onto it
