painting on fresh plaster

I stupidly painted 1/2 a room that had been freshly skimmed with plaster, with a vinyl silk emulsion, before I realised my mistake.
I have continued the rest with a matt. Is there anything i can do to rescue the first half or prevent it from peeling etc!

I hope you thinned the second matt..or toy may have the same problem as you will with the silk..peeling.

I would try and get the silk off now while your at it...you dont want to be messing about with it when the rooms finished.

Use a filling knife or a window scraper to get behind the coating..
