We've recently moved into our new home, a 1895 victorian terrace, and I've been reviewing what decoration needs attention. Most of the house has seen new plaster and painting over the last 5 or so years so overall in good order. However, on some walls there are the odd fine cracks and I'd like touch these up. Any trade tricks I could use? I've attempted this in the past and the new paint sticks out so much I've ended up repainting the entire room!

Thanks in advance for any tips.

by lining walls then this stops cracks from showing or coming through.........

Any touching up with show through, specially if the paint is a good few years old, the best bet is to repair the cracks, and just repaint, or like third eye says, line, but its not the quick fix your after, other than that have loads of pictures on the wall. :D

Thanks for the replies. As I thought, no easy solution so its Pictures or Paint for me!
