Hi

I have inherited some old 'tiling on a roll' type wallpaper on my kitchen walls.
It's got a soft cushiony texture and I think it's vinyl/plastic coated as it's quite shiny and waterproof.
I'd rather not have to strip it as my walls are shocking (n)

I have attached a photo of the offending item, you can see it above and to the side of the wall units

Now for the question...
Can I paint over this and if so what type of paint/primer should i use?

Many thanks in advance

Not sure it's a good idea, but if I were to try it I would use Zinsser Bullseye 123.

yep this is a definite proper use for something like 123, they reckon it's even good on glass
