PAINTING OVER WALLPAPER

Hiya tomorrow a a pinter it's coming to paint one room in my house £150 I will provided the material the all walls are wallpapered what's the best way to paint the room removed all the wall paper and fill all the gaps or paint over the wallpaper?

No idea if the paper its good to paint over.

Ask the painter thats what your paying him for..hasnt he seen the job before...this should have bene sorted beforehand

If the paper is a 'finish' paper then it shouldnt be painted over..too much can go wrong

If the walls do have to be stripped then ALL of the paste must be thoroughly scrubbed off

Personally is suggest lining the walls instead
