The exterior walls of my garage have been painted with Sandtex Masonry paint. However, I notice the bottom 6" or so peels away when wet. I will have to scrape this off but I have looked at water sealers and it appears you cannot paint over these, I want to Sandtex all the walls again. The walls are breeze blocks with an outside render, best I can say. Can anyone please advise if there is a paint/or sealer which I can use to seal the lower part of the walls and then paint over again with Sandtex (white)? It looks as though there is a damp proof lining along the lower bricks of the walls and above this the walls seem fine. Many thanks for any help.
