Hi All,

I'm about to start painting a room that has had patches of paint stripped off where there was this horrible double sided foam stuff stuck to the walls (on the back of trunking).

What's the best method to paint these and to prevent the lines from showing where the paint has been stripped off? Do I need to paint over these areas with a primer first to bring these areas back out to the same 'level' as the rest of the paint?

Many thanks and kind regards
Gareth

Fill and feather off edges using a fine surface filler and rub down with a fine sandpaper should work
