Once again I'm dodging the issue of having upvc windows and so I'm maintaining my casement windows. There are a number of fine line cracks in the putty but I do not wish to reputty the windows. Whilst paint 'seals' some of them is there some kind of resin or sealer which can be brushed on before painting to seal these cracks?

I either use the red devil one time filler or just plain old mastic/caulk. Alternatively epoxy resin filler which is about as hard as the old putty.

Respect for not wanting plastic windows.
