i'm currently in the process of doing a million jobs in my house, one of which was to tile our bathroom floor. But we was thinking about painting it instead, they are the original floorboards and are in excellent condition has anyone done this before ? would i need to put some sort of sealant down to stop any water going through and is there a special hardwearing paint for floors ? I'm not a complete novice at DIY just after some suggestions or tips.

Many thanks

Sadolin Classic can go onto bare floor boards. Once cured Sadolin Polyurethane Floor Varnish will provide a hardwearing film.

If you are thinking of using floor paint, be aware that it does not last too long in the traffic areas. But Sadolin and similar products are usually quite satisfactory
