So part P is upon us so how are we doing, how many new showers have we fitted? who has contacted us to inform us of what should be done???
We (plumbers) now must tell building control that we are fitting an electric shower so why is it that electricians that fit the same shower do not need any plumbing qualifications to complete the same job are non return valves etc now obsolete. Will Focus and B & Q stores ensure electric showers tc are sold only to those who have part P certification. Is part P a load of part cr.P?

this has been done to death aint it

yeah yeah totally agree with you will but not in our control to change it with have all been let down by CORGI IPHE and the rest now we just have to get on with it

Just glad that the shower room refit I am currently doing was finished last December.......

Aint bothered, done loads of stuff and not worried, gonna start doing cash jobs, no reciept, no part l no part P no benchmark, no worries.
