apx 6 months ago my customer had a new CU fitted and his radial supply to his whirlpool bath protected by an RCD .

He has unfortunately dropped his shower head through the bath and it needs replacing , do i need to get the supply tested again or can i connect the new bath and whirlpool into it ?

Many thanks .

You should issue a Minor Works Certificate on completion and because it's in a Bathroom ...you know the rest

You do not need to get the supply tested again. The bath itself is an 'accessory'. The test certificate will relate to the fixed wiring part of the installation.

Oh PS. The certificate will confirm that the installation conforms to BS7671. By confirming that it meets BS7671 basically means that you have complied with Building Regs Part P (and some other stuff too). Theres a full explaination in the Wiki.
