Does Part P only apply to domestic buildings ?

want to add switched fuse spur to power circuit, to feed outside light at a commercial building

So do you know what laws and regulations you do have to abide by?

Although you don't have to self certify the works, all other parts of the building regs still apply to the installation. If you're installing outside lighting parts L2A & L2B make useful reading.

ill have timeclock and photocell, with energy saver lamps so part L should be ok
