Hi all, I have this problem with a couple of my door hinges on a 20yr old UPVC patio door. I lifted the door off recently to try and tighten the screws but they just pull back out again like below. Can anyone suggest the best way to fix this please? Do I just need wider screws

Screws with a bigger thread to bite into the steel reinforcement or a more drastic measure is to reposition the hinge and screw into fresh plastic
