I am looking to fit new patio doors. The room has had a substantial screed with the existing doors in place which has brought the height up inside significantly higher than the bottom of the door frame. I worry that fitting new doors without raising the exterior level will give us issues opening the door after we lay real-wood floor. How should I address this? I have thought of laying a line of half-height bricks along base to raise the level. Taller PVC frames (if this is even a thing). Not really sure..

I do, but for some reason this forum won't let me upload - I get a security error.
