Patio Doors hitting brickwork

Hi all. Have some new patio doors, finding that if they swing in the wind then the hinges are scrathing against the brickwork. Any ideas on how to avoid?

I thought of maybe running a small line of silicone along the brickwork where the hinges meet it, to act as a bit of a cushion. Or I could attach something lke a piece of rubber to the bricks, it only requires an inch long piece to stop the hinges grating.

Any other solutions?

You could fit some kind of door restrictor eg http://www.ironmongerydirect.co.uk/products/door_closers_and_controls/door_restrictors

or there are various 'patio door stops' available eg https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=p...=rNSOVJ3kJYvwUomDgdgF&ved=0CAUQ_AUoAA&dpr=0.9 though with this approach I would be cautious and ensure any fixings were not right on the corner of a brick.

Dare say there are one or two other options
