I am looking to put in a large patio (15m wide x 5m deep), the site is sloping - mainly right-to-left, but also front-to-back.

Is it possible/normal to have fall on both axis? This would reduce the height of any retaining wall.

If I go with 1:60 this would be approx 3 courses across the rear of the house. There are patio doors in the middle of the rear elevation. Will the fall be noticeable/look ok?

Thanks.

It will be a decent fall, but not too bad over 15 m

And yes fall both ways, acco drain along the wall or french drain etc soakaway
