Do need to bed the paving slab slightly above ACO channel or can I butt I lt up to it level with edge? (Mortar will be buttered up to the edge of ACO as per @noseall advice)

I’m hoping the latter because I’ve installed the ado channel level with the top of the edging (which will be where the patio will be level/flush with also)

Cheers

Level is fine, as the slabs will be slightly angled towards the drain, anyway....

Miniscule ponding occurs with any textured/riven slabs, unless they are smooth....

...even then, the water does not drain off instantly.

As said, flush is ok.
