Paving joint-it gone wrong

Hi Guys

My gardener did slab work for me but then went on holiday and i decided to do the grout by using joint-it....i felt it went ok but next day i saw slabs are covered with joint it stuck on to it...whoops shouldve cleaned, but i thuought i did clean but must've left some out

Because the slab has many groves its probably got stuck in thatso how do i clean the slabs?

Secondly i noticed the grouting is very grainy, any ideas why? (as shown in attached pic)

you'll have to brush hard with a stout brush. As to why its grainy, its because you just brushed it in and didn't smooth it with a pointing iron.
