PC Can't See Samsung Smartphone

Plugged in with USB lead. PC bongs to acknowledge. But not visible.

Tried it with another phone: came up with autoplay options.

Want to transfer music to phone. Frustrated. USB socket works. Another phone works. Why not this one?

Do you have to have Samsung pc studio?

Oh! I had a Samsung at one stage and I had to have the studio,I suppose its different with the smart phone,but maybe not if it won't talk to the puter.

Sigh.

Hitting problems.

Have tried downloading SS studio. It says I don't have administator's rights to do so.

So tried SS Kies. That downloaded but would not connect to the Galaxy Ace. So I troubleshooted it, and it reinstalled the driver but would still not connect the Ace to the PC.

So I'm stuck at the mo.

Don't know why it doesn't just act like another MSD, like the other phone...

Sorted it!

By turning off debugging mode.

But, should I turn it on again when not transferring files??
