pe x connections

Hi
I am adding downstair toilet to the house.
The existing water supply is all copper. Because of cost i want to use pe x from screwfix. What sort of connections use (brass?) to connect to cold water and hot? Boiler is in the attic so i want to run both lines directly down and put it in plastic trunkin?Is that ok so far?

Use compression fittings to connect into the existing pipework and using trunking is ok.
