Pebbledash

Roof and soffits are going up over the next few weeks which will then just leave the external render. I need to match the existing pebbledash and am considering doing this myself as the areas are small.

I have plastered a few rooms now with decent results. Is rendering a similar skill or best left to the pros?

If i am to do it myself, what is the best mix and method to be applied to 7N blockwork.
