I am making plywood pelmets, to be covered with fabric, for a bay window whose side windows are a different width from the middle one.
I have designed the arch cutout to coincide with the glass width of each window. When drawn out the arches although of the same height look different. The outside flat bottom of the arches are of different sizes and when assembled seem to empathize the allusion of arch height.
Would a solution be to make all flat bottoms of equal size? I would think that making the arches of different heights would not work.
The side window widths 28" overall, 20" glass.
The middle window widths 38" overall, 32" glass.
The angle is 160 degrees.
It's really an optical allusion.
Someone out there must have done this!!!!!
