Hi, I have a cable coming out of the ceiling with black red and green yellow wires. New light fitting has a connector with blue and brown wires, please could someone tell me how I connect this up, thanks

Brown to red.
Blue to black.
Keep the green/yellow wire out of the way so it's safe. Unless the light fitting is metal, in which case earth it.
