I had an interesting pension review recently. Apparently, my "moderately adventurous fund" (what a euphemism) made "a killing" during the pandemic.

Not my words, the advisor's...

Looking at a 50% final salary deal when I do retire. However, I started the pension late.

Just gotta not die now.

One of the best things I did money wise was focus on the mortgage in my 20s and early 30s. Every year you pay it down early, compounds saving you huge amounts of money.

Yeah, I did the same, my ex wife was delighted.

My soon to be ex wife will also be a very wealthy lady thanks to me.
