On a propose Texecom alarm system I plan to install later in the year, we will be having perimeter sensors in the rear and front. How easy is it for me to take the output of these and connect to some third party software and how can I get alert notifications of any perimeter breaches without setting off any alarms?

I guess it depends on what alarm system you have and what the third party software and integration methods are.

The detection device will trip the alarm terminals when triggered for hard wired devices.
wireless devices a little trickier to take from the device.

This leaves outputs/ relays or Texecom protocols to talk with the panel directly (need to request nda from Texecom).
Control 4 for example can integrate with Texecom panel using the control 4 driver at various levels. You would need to read the status of the zones regularly.

Outputs/relays could be programmed as zone mimic , so the output/relay fires when device goes active regardless of being set, you may wnt another output so you cn see when the system is armed or not.
