Guys
I'm now officially competent and have all the test equipment Alphatek can throw at me. I'm branching into PIR for rented properties.
As a guide what is the going rate for PIRs these days? I know it will vary but a few different feedbacks would give me a good guide.
I'm based in the bleak frosty northern dark satanic mills by the way so London weighting on the price won't be applicable.

Thanks

The going rate is roughly your hourly rate multiplied by how many hours you think are required to complete each job. This is based on previous experience of similar jobs. (Although, I am not sure that you should take my advice as I am one of unclean, unregistered, incompetents with only 20 years experience, loads of certificates, and working as a tester for a living). Good luck with your new venture.

Thanks pdc
I've heard some stories of £250 for some PIRs which I thought was a bit over the top. You're confirming roughly what I was expecting to hear. A nice round number with a 1 in it sounds like a fair charge.

By 'eck, lad!

In that case, cocker, for a quid each, I've got 200 jobs for you, an' that's just fo' starters, you know worra mean?

Blimey, a tight Yorkshireman. That's a novelty!
I was thinking more like a grand. Is that any good for you?
