I’ve got a petrol generator that stopped producing power when being used. I’ve tried replacing the capacitor and have checked all the connections and switches etc but still no luck. Does anyone have any ideas? The engine starts first pull and works like a charm

About all you can do is have a look at the alternator cabling (behind the power socket usually), see if anything has rattled loose, check any breakers for continuity.
It looks like a cheap no name frame generator- quite likely an alternator winding has failed. Best bet- get onto Ebay & get a Honda- they're expensive for good reasons.
Before you do all that, try it with a nice big resistive load (500w sunflood or a 1 bar electric fire)- those things don't like inductive or very small loads
