Phone to monitor CCTV

Hello guys.

I am setting up a CCTV system. I have a Sony Xperia E1 on PAYGO, which is Android.

I will need to get a new phone to monitor it away from home.

Your expert advise will be much appreciated, as I have never done this before. I am guessing an iPhone will be better, but if so, I have no idea on specifics.

If your on payngo then data rates are usually high.
If you get a giffgaff sim(you can keep your number) for instance, you can get 6gb of data for £10 (other deals are available) per month.
