Pick the baxi/potteron engineers brains

Wonder if you guys have come across 80/105e`s (not instants) making a droning noise on initial start up from cold lasts about 5 to 10 mins then goes and sounds as quite as a mouse .Only does it on heating no noise at all on HW, pressures are all as they should be and system is perfectly clean with inhibitor added. Did attach this to another thread the other week but forgot which one so if you have already answered soz for being a pain if you are having to answer again . cheers

seem to remember they had some trouble with o rings in the diverter

not sure if it's relavent tho

There's a "well known" whistling when the heating's on, caused by a O ring in the HW side. Stops when you put HW on. Found a thread about it:

I've still never seen/heard it though!

yes that was whistling noise though

i would check the low gas pressure setting as if this is too high and trvs are shutting down this may cause it other than that i havent heard of this problem

yes do it all thats why we end up going out to all the boilers they cant fix on supposiedly joint visits where they dont bother even turning up
